Workshop on
Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Startup in college premises.
Government General Zorawar Singh Degree College has organised one day workshop on
Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Startup in college premises. The aim of this program was to
sensitize the college students about the concepts of entrepreneurship, innovation and startup
schemes initiated by the ministry of education. Mr. Haribhushan from Jammu & Kashmir
Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) and Mr. Ajay Kumar Sareen Ministry of labor
and Employment (Govt. Of India) were the resource person of the event. This programme
broadly envisage a three tiered approach that is developing achievement motivation and
sharpening of entrepreneurial traits and behavior among college going students; project
planning, development and guidance on industrial opportunities and schemes initiated by the
government for the upliftment of unemployed youth of our nation. Along sight lecture will
also deliver on “Significance of Gandhian Thoughts and values and “Importance of
Fundamental Duties” under the banner of “Shikshit Bharat Abhiyan.” Prof. Praveen Akhter,
Prof. Rekha Gupta, Prof. Upasna Bhagat, Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Prof. Prabjhot Kour, Prof
Pal;vinder Kumari and Prof. Ajay Kumar were present in the event.
Whole events was organised under the noble guidance of the Principal of the College,
Dr.Chander Shekhar.
